Hi Everybody
,
How have you been? As you can see with the title, let’s take a break from Jojo (for one post
) and discuss some interesting news I saw on Twitter some days ago (thanks to Nyusu.fm)
Indeed, Tsume, an European figure manufacturer announced the release of a high quality statue of Gemini no Saga from the series Saint Seiya. For those who don’t have a clue about Saint Seiya, I really want to say “shame on you!”
, but I’ll just pretend to be a very understanding girl and give you some link where you can get some info
. Wikipedia is always your best friend in this case and, you can also have a look at Saint Seiya Fan forum or watch some episodes at Animecrazy. In the latest case, I suggest you stop the series at the Hades arc, the rest is a bit… Anyway, you will see by yourself
.
So, to come back to Tsume & HQS Saga, I must say that I was really tempted to give this manufacturer a go because I just love Saga and I really want a nice statue of him. At some point in my life I was a huge fan of SS and of course, Saga & Kanon were my favorite characters ( I am a Gemini too, you know
). So well, the news made me feel very nostalgic.
Saga Statue will be 1/6scale, around 36,5cm tall and limited to 600pcs. Release is scheduled for November (from my experience there are always delays with this kind of statue) and for this price I really don’t expect plastic. You’ll find some pictures below, but please check Tsume website to get more information.
So, how do you find him? The statue looks very nice in general even if I prefer more dynamic poses. The base doesn’t seem very original to me either. Nonetheless, the colors are really nice. Can’t wait to see more pictures.
Pre-orders are opened on the manufacturer website. Just for info, Tsume released a HQS Ikki that is currently sold out. Therefore, well… if you are interested and rich enough, maybe better reserve yours asap.
I wonder if the company will release Kanon too? Would be nice to get HQS Statues of my favorite characters…
That’s it for today…
Back to Jojo for next post!
See you
